Guided tours and observations of the Berlin night sky
Depending on weather conditions, observe double stars, star clusters, planetary nebulae, and even galaxies!
In addition to a guided tour and guided observation through the large telescope, the “Bamberg Refractor,” you can also look through the smaller telescopes on the observatory’s roof and enjoy the beauty of the cosmos.
The event takes place regardless of the weather. If the sky is overcast, the telescope’s magnification will be demonstrated by focusing on objects in the city; in case of rain, the focus will be on technical aspects and the history of the observatory—unfortunately, the dome cannot be opened in such cases.
The path to the observatory is not lit; please feel free to bring your own flashlight if it is dark.
