"Ausländer" celebrates the cultural impact of foreign artists on Berlin's vibrant art scene.

This group exhibition brings together 100 international voices that shape and enrich the city's creative landscape.

Berlin's identity has been forged through waves of migration and international exchange. "Ausländer" examines how foreign perspectives transform and redefine the city's artistic expression.

Stephan Van Kuyk is a visual artist and curator based in Berlin. He wants to raise awareness of why it is important to value foreign artists, their artworks, and their stories, and how this affects the cultural space in Berlin.

The exhibition addresses the difficulties foreign artists face on a daily basis and aims to bring them together to highlight their influence on the local art scene.

The “AUSLÄNDER” exhibition will take place on the 24th of April 2026 (duration 2 weeks) at Prachtsaal studio in Neukölln. The open call for artists is still available until March 1st.

  • Location: Prachtsaal Studio - Atelier in Berlin, Jonasstraße 22 · 12053 Berlin
