
Songs by Strauss, Boulanger, Chaminade, Tailleferre, and Others
For her debut at the Pierre Boulez Saal, French soprano Sabine Devieilhe, together with Mathieu Pordoy, has compiled a program dedicated to important women and multifaceted images of women in music.
It combines romantic ideals of love and tender declarations of love with lullabies and lullabies from various cultures, as well as works by female composers such as Lili Boulanger, Cécile Chaminade, and Germaine Tailleferre, who successfully shaped the concert world around 1900.
