Reading on the prevention of antisemitism
The question of what and how we forget, repress, reconcile, and gloss over remains relevant today, not only because of the Nazi era. It is fundamental to our civil society, influencing how we deal with pain and injustice, how we negotiate them, and how they are represented.
The collage “COURAGE TO BE WITH ONE ANOTHER” emerged from the interplay of texts by, among others, Margot Friedländer, Rafael Seligmann, Götz Aly, and Theodor W. Adorno. It aims to foster reconciliation after the horrors of the Holocaust, to instill courage, and to contribute to a peaceful and tolerant coexistence of religions and cultures, characterized by the desire to better understand one another and learn from each other.
The reading ensemble presents a reading about encounters and coexistence—across religions and territorial conflicts—with stories that inspire courage on the path to reconciliation and envision peace through mutual tolerance.
An event within the framework of the International Weeks Against Racism.
