The MC Recipe project takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining musical performance with thematic nutrition education for a young audience.

Contemporary hip-hop beats are synthesised with pop and reggae elements to present everyday aspects of food culture, from taste preferences to the socio-cultural significance of shared meals, in a narrative form.

Music serves as a medium for conveying content related to cooking and consumption in a child-friendly and reflective manner, with a focus on raising awareness of healthy eating within the family.

The live performance at Privatclub Berlin is a hybrid of a concert and a cooking show, with hand puppets used to enhance the visual interaction. In keeping with the modern concept of 'edutainment', the production combines artistic expression with knowledge transfer, inviting the audience to participate actively and creatively, particularly in view of the carnival context.

Thus, the event on 15 February 2026 offers low-threshold access to health education topics within the framework of a participatory cultural event.
