Without dialogue, but using vivid imagery, music, and the symbolic power of puppets, objects, and shadow play, the ensemble appeals to both children and adults.

A story about growing up—full of humor and playfulness, with a poetic approach and complete trust in the audience’s aesthetic sensibilities and imagination.

The Merlin Puppet Theatre tells five different puppet stories from a child’s perspective—about diversity and fears, friendship and solidarity, responsibility, bullying, and loss.

The “Girl with the Little Suitcase” is the central figure of the production. In each episode, she faces new challenges. She prevails through humorous exaggerations. With the objects she pulls from her little suitcase, she transforms her toys into ingenious tools with which she turns her reality into beauty.
