Spacious installations and exciting stories introduce visitors to seven very different themed worlds in Berlin. A highlight object surprises in each room.

In the middle of BERLIN GLOBAL stands a safe door, rusty and weighing tons. What does this two-metre tall object tell of expropriation and persecution and why is it at the same time a symbol of the party scene of the 1990s?

It's also worth looking up at the original lamps of the Palace of the Republic: how did Berliners have fun here 40 years ago?
