The walk leads from the Brandenburg Gate through the Marly Garden “Flora am Fächerbeet” to Sanssouci Palace, and from there through the Old Village Center and the Bornstedt Crown Estate to the former vineyard and hop garden on Maulbeerallee: always following in the footsteps of Frederick II and his special relationship with the potato.

With Dorlis Blume, project director of the exhibition “Nature and German History,” and Antonia Humm, historian and curator of the exhibition “King & Potato” (House of Brandenburg-Prussian History in Potsdam, 2012).

Max. 25 participants; meeting point and further information provided upon registration.

Out of the Museum: The exhibition program takes place outdoors on five dates. During approximately two-hour walks, members of the team will explore specific themes on-site with external guests: along highway ruins and vineyards, man-made lakes, and palace gardens.
