With Heike Stange, Frauentouren

Helga Goetze found her role as an "inevitable disruptive force" in 1980s West Berlin. With her vigils, which she held at Breitscheidplatz starting in 1983, she positioned herself at the heart of public life and lived nearby at Schlüterstraße 70. Helga Goetze was a self-taught activist in the struggle for self-determination.

Since the 1970s, a feminist women's movement has emerged, encompassing a wide range of diverse activities. This movement required spaces. Participants will explore hidden spaces and markers, micro-spaces and collective spaces, both internal and external, examining how women used and appropriated these spaces at that time.

Some of the stops include the Schwarze Café (Black Café), the Jeanne-Mammen-Bogen (Jeanne Mammen Arch), the former women's bookstore "Lilith," the TU cafeteria, and the "Hidden Museum."
