For the 228th ‘Blue Monday’ on 13 April 2026, cabaret artist and host Arnulf Rating and his Maulhelden team have once again put together a wild mix: comedians, acrobats, musicians, satirists, bon vivants, slam poets and similar eccentrics are usually guests here, both familiar faces and new discoveries.

Since 1990, ‘Blue Monday’ has been a showcase for talented individuals and original personalities, a fast-paced, beautiful and quirky show accompanied by changing live bands.
At 8 p.m., the curtain rises at the Die Wühlmäuse cabaret theatre, this time for the anti-capitalist yodelling duo Esels Alptraum, Berlin punk with violinist Paul Geigerzähler, juggling word acrobat Markus Jeroch, story reader Spider Krenzke, visual aphorisms with Bavarian functional poet Wolfgang Ramadan, penny dreadful satire with Sister Cordula, the power acrobats Tigris, and rock pole dancing with Jana Vogel. Musical accompaniment for the evening will be provided by the sixties retro band Hard Beat Five. As usual, the whole event will be presented by Arnulf Rating and spiced with political satire.
