Katja Berlin on a major tour in autumn 2026

In autumn 2026, author Katja Berlin will once again be touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland with her successful series ‘Die Torten der Wahrheit’ (The Cakes of Truth). She will be performing in Berlin on 30 October.

The focus of Katja Berlin's new stage programme is her current book ‘Wann eine Idee für gut befunden wird’ (When an idea is deemed good). For years, Katja Berlin has been thrilling millions of people with her legendary pie charts.

What began as satirical infographics has long since become a stage format in its own right: clever, pointed, surprisingly political – and always deeply funny. Her latest book, ‘Wann eine Idee für gut befunden wird’ (When an idea is deemed good), brings together Katja Berlin's most recent socially critical graphics on the major issues of our time: the shift to the right, the climate crisis, misogyny, social cuts and why online shopping is so annoying.

She now brings these topics to the stage live – with new diagrams, sharp wit and precise observation. Between statistics, satire and self-irony, she breaks down decision-making processes, majority opinions and social dynamics into their individual parts. What looks sober turns out to be a highly comical analysis of our time. An evening that alternates between punchlines and political insights, with a clear view of what is socially accepted as ‘true’ – or not. The show is aimed at anyone who wants to question themselves and our shared reality – and have a laugh in the process.
