A lecture at the intersection of anatomy and function, art and science.
The event provides exciting insights into neuroscientific research and clearly illustrates how our brain perceives the outside world – presented in a way that is understandable to a broad audience.
Wolf-Julian Neumann and Alessia Cavallo from the Department of Neurology at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin present fascinating insights into the activity of our brain under electrical stimulation and report on the new opportunities created by the unprecedented precision of modern neurotechnologies.
“Berlin Brains” is a regular and very well-attended lecture series organized jointly by the Cluster of Excellence NeuroCure, the Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin, the Max Delbrück Center, the Collaborative Research Center 1315 (SFB 1315), and the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin (BCCN Berlin).
The aim of the series is to make cutting-edge neuroscience research from Berlin accessible and tangible to the public.
