Zappel the rabbit lives with his brother Zottel in a wondrous forest full of whimsical animals and plants. He's called Zappel the Rabbit because he loves to move around so much. Zappel dances, hops, and wiggles along with his brother Zottel. Everything would be carefree if a sinister hawk hadn't taken a flight through the forest one day. When Zottel suddenly disappears, Zappel anxiously seeks protection and help from the children.
With their support, he finally dares to embark on the adventurous journey to rescue his brother, using language, sound, and movement to his advantage.
