Berlin is preparing for an exciting Whitsun weekend dedicated to creativity and play on the occasion of World Play Day.

From 7 to 11 June, the LEGO Group, together with singer Zoe Wees and social media star Younes Zarou, will show how urban spaces can be transformed in unexpected ways through play and the creative ideas of children in four districts of Berlin.
Whether it's a Berlin Späti, a trendy shopping hotspot or a chill-out park: in Berlin's Mitte, Kreuzberg, Neukölln and Tempelhof districts, everyday adult spaces are getting a playful makeover with four LEGO Play Drops, which are open daily free of charge for children and families.

The campaign is also supported by many other YouTubers, stars and creators who are supporting the campaign on site every day, such as Adidotoro, Paul Frege, Rewinside, Jessie Bluegrey, Reeze, Merle, Parshad and Louisa Masciullo.


HOME Base LEGO SPÄTI, Zossener Str. 48, 10961 Berlin
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Next stop: Hallesches Tor underground station, Mehringdamm, Gneisenaustraße
  
• A normal visit to the Späti becomes an extraordinary family play experience – with surprises around every corner.

BEAT Zone, Highsnobiety, Unter den Linden 40, 10117 Berlin
11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Next stop: Unter den Linden (underground station)
  
• In the DJ booth, music fans have the opportunity to get active themselves and take centre stage in the city.
  
• A free ticket must be booked in advance for this Play Drop.
  

RIDE Zone, Tempelhofer Feld Southwest Entrance, 12101 Berlin
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Next stop: Tempelhof S-Bahn and U-Bahn station and Paradestraße U-Bahn station
  
• Here, car fans can get started, pimp their dream cars and race against each other.
  
• Particularly exciting: cool content can be created during the action.
  

BOUNCE Zone, Tempelhofer Feld, Okerstraße entrance, 12049 Berlin
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Next stop: Leinestraße underground station
  
• Game time for sports fans! Sports enthusiasts can grab a racket and reinvent the game according to their own rules.
  

Bring your friends and shape your Berlin – every idea counts!

Kids will have the opportunity to show their ideas for a more colourful and creative city that meets their needs. During the event, suggestions for more play opportunities in the city will be collected.
In addition, the LEGO Group will donate to the children's charity BILD hilft e.V. ‘Ein Herz für Kinder’ for every idea submitted.
