When people talk about bee mortality, many first think of honey bees. However, there are many other species of bees that do not live in colonies and care for their offspring alone. These wild bees (or solitary bees) play an important ecological role, primarily as pollinators, and surpass honey bees in their pollination performance.

On a voyage of discovery through the Spreepark, the participants will learn exciting facts about the solitary relatives of honey bees and find out how they can promote wild bee diversity.
