A surrealist experience with theatre and music. Federico García Lorca (1898-1936), Luis Buñuel (1900-1983) and Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). Three of the most influential Spanish artists of the 20th century, but also three close friends.
The play shows some days in the life of these three young artists, in which they shared a room in a student residence, as they all had little money. During this time they talk about their dreams, hopes, love stories and their longing to become what they later became.
The relationships between them are accompanied by live music (piano and cello) of compositions by great classics of Spanish music such as Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Turina, Gaspar Cassado.
The show is also a tribute to the women of Generation '27, the so-called "Las Sinsombrero", who worked with the trio of artists throughout their careers.
It is an invitation to celebrate the artistic heyday in Spain. Through a surreal and magical experience that combines music and theater. Three actors. A piano. A cello. They come together to present in Berlin a play with original text by Gonzalo Piñán in Spanish with German and English subtitles.
