In the context of the play Primi Facie, a film screening and discussion of the documentary film "Seven Winters in Tehran" will take place on 21.09.2023. The guest will be the director Steffi Niederzoll.

In her documentary debut, director Steffi Niederzoll uses, among other things, original sound and image material that was smuggled out of the country. The film makes visible the injustice in Iranian society and portrays an unwilling heroine who gave her life in the fight for women's rights. Seven Winters in Tehran won the Compass Perspective Award for Best Film in the Berlinale section Perspektive Deutsches Kino in 2023. In addition, the film foundation-supported production won the Peace Film Award of the 73rd Berlinale.
