The winners of the Berlin Comic Scholarship 2025 will present their inspiring exhibition, offering insights into the diverse world of Berlin's comic art scene, from 5 July 2025 to 11 January 2026 at the Museum for Communication Berlin.
Organised in collaboration with the German Comic Association (Deutscher Comicverein e. V.), the exhibition features designs by the current scholarship holders and works by previous winners.
The comic books and graphic novels created during cultural exchange scholarships in Paris invite visitors to browse in a reading corner.
In 2025, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion awarded three eight-month work scholarships and one six-month residency scholarship at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. The working scholarships went to Matías Boettner, Katia Fouquet and Paula Kempker; the 2025/26 residency scholarship in Paris was awarded to Clayton Junior. Burcu Türker, Konstantin Potapov, Sophie Artz, Karolina Chyzewska, Kai Pfeiffer, Sheree Domingo Betz and Bianca Schaalburg, who were Paris scholarship holders in previous years, are also featured in the exhibition.
