Antisemitismus als popkulturelles Ereignis’ (Loud Hate: Anti-Semitism as a Pop Culture Event), published in September 2025, Maria Kanitz and Lukas Geck take 7 October as their starting point to take a closer look at popular culture.

Using many recent examples – such as Roger Waters, Kanye West and Macklemore – they show how deeply modern anti-Semitism has now seeped into the popular music repertoire.
Maria Kanitz and Lukas Geck will present their book in conversation with Klaus Lederer.
The event is being held in cooperation with Progressive Linke e.V. and Verbrecher Verlag. There will also be a live stream of the event.
