PAR AVION

Drawing on the original mail art movement, which emphasised collaboration and community, in July 2025, members of the Critical Edge Collective (London), the Best Before Collective (Stockholm) and eight artists from Berlin joined forces: All 24 artists sent their developed research ideas to a partner in another city; the recipients created a work of art in response to the suggestions and questions contained therein.


The exhibition now offers these artists the opportunity to come together and present their ideas in a new series of works. Par Avion includes sculptures, prints, paintings, drawings, textiles, audiovisual media and performances – as well as the envelopes that each artist sent to another country at the beginning of the process.

This bold project not only showcases new works from a variety of disciplines, but also pays tribute to the creative power of collaboration and partnership.
