Leo von Doeselaar, organ, will play the world premiere of a commissioned composition as part of the organ festival week at St. Marien in Berlin-Mitte.
The organ festival week will take place from 21 to 28 May 2023 to mark the official acceptance of the Wagner organ 300 years ago. The Joachim Wagner organ in St. Marien is internationally renowned as one of the few baroque organs in Berlin. The extensively restored organ is also described as the "most beautiful organ in Berlin" and the "most inspiring organ in the capital" (Dietmar Hiller).
