Dr. Klaus Lederer in conversation with the Jewish-Muslim think tank Karov-Qareeb.
An event by Dialogperspektiven and Karov-Qareeb in cooperation with the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
Founded in Berlin in 2019, the think tank invites young Jews* and Muslims* to engage in conversation. Karov-Qareeb strengthens Jewish-Muslim cooperation and solidarity.
Now the think tank has published its first publication. "'And finally we could talk ...' A handout on Jewish-Muslim dialogue in practice" (Herder Verlag) tells of the joint work, of exchange and empowerment, connecting experiences and dealing with differences.
The new publication is a practice-oriented manual for civil society institutions and actors who want to shape dialogue and use dissent productively. We will stream the one-hour conversation live on the Dialogue Perspectives Facebook page starting at 6 pm. Questions to the guests can be posted via the comments field.
The conversation will remain on the Dialogue Perspectives Facebook
page after streaming and can also be viewed here later.
