The musical based on Janosch's classic children's book
Tiger and Bear on a Great Journey! With "Oh, How Beautiful Is Panama," Janosch created a children's book classic more than 40 years ago. The 2006 film of the same name by Irina Probost also became a huge success. This, in turn, now provides the basis for a brand-new musical.

"Oh, How Beautiful Is Panama" - The Musical Based on Janosch's Classic Children's Book
The little tiger and the little bear embark on an incredible journey around the world to find happiness – with the Tiger Duck in tow, of course. They encounter many animals, such as the traveling donkey Mallorca, the monkey Bong, a rather crazy herd of cows, and several other friends from Janosch's world who ask them for directions. They fall off a bridge and are stranded in a storm on a deserted island. And along the way, the two discover what's truly important in life!
The turbulent musical adaptation by writer and director Florian Schmidt and composer Reinhold Hoffmann (member of the band HAINDLING) now brings this amusing and philosophical story of friendship, wanderlust, and freedom to the stage.
