Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist in the West Bank, has been fighting against the displacement of his community by the Israeli occupation since childhood.

He documents the gradual erasure of the villages in his home region, where the Israeli government is gradually forcing Palestinian residents to leave their villages – with demolition orders, roadblocks, and evictions.

At some point, he meets Yuval, an Israeli journalist who supports him in his efforts. An unlikely alliance is formed. Together with a small film collective, the result is an extraordinary documentary film as an act of creative resistance – borne of the collaboration between Palestinian and Israeli voices. It is a quiet, haunting film about resistance, belonging, and the right to remain.

Awarded the Panorama Audience Award at the 2024 Berlinale and numerous other awards worldwide, most recently the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.
