Klangwerkstatt Berlin 2026
To mark Helmut Zapf’s 70th birthday, the Tafelmusiken pay tribute to the composer and long-standing director of the Ensemble JungeMusik Berlin.
Every day, chamber music works by Helmut Zapf will be performed, inspired by which pupils and colleagues – Anastasiia Husak, Xuan Yao, Anton Safronow, Ilgın Ülkü and Kaspar Querfurth – have composed their own musical reflections. In addition, pieces by Artur Kroschel, Bernd Lauber, Olga Rayeva, Raphaëlle Aoun, Henry Mex, Boris Guckelsberger, Zbyněk Wiesener, Johannes B. Borowski and others will be performed.
