An innocent girl gets a red riding hood from her grandmother and from then on she is just called Little Red Riding Hood. When the grandmother becomes ill, the mother sends Little Red Riding Hood into the forest to bring cake and wine to the grandmother.

On the way, Little Red Riding Hood meets the big bad wolf. In her innocence, she tells him where her grandmother lives and allows herself to be led astray. The wolf devours the grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood, but the hunter brings rescue.
