On Friday 9 October 2026, Residenzstraße in Reinickendorf will once again be transformed into a vibrant music mile: at the ‘Klangstraße’ festival, audiences can look forward to 27 concerts at 15 different venues, all with free admission.
The concerts are limited to 30 minutes, so that the audience can stroll comfortably from venue to venue and experience a diverse musical programme. Concert venues include shops, cafés, restaurants and rooms in social institutions along the high street. Some of the concerts take place in the open air.
A festival for everyone – music without borders
From 3 pm to 9 pm, the Klangstraße invites you to discover 15 different bands and soloists. The programme ranges from rock, pop and jazz through to swing, chanson, tango and Afro-pop, right up to singer-songwriter, Arabic, Balkan and tarantella music.
At 3 pm, the festival will be officially opened in the courtyard of the Berlin Music Campus (Residenzstraße 39). To kick off the musical programme, the duo ‘Nominka’ will take the audience on a unique musical journey from Spain to the Balkans.
Other acts at the festival include the trio ‘Sotas de Osaka’ with tangos and Argentine folk music; ‘Trio Scho’, who will delight the audience with chansons, swing and hits from France and the former Soviet Union; the band ‘Afrikadelle’, playing West African rhythms with Afrobeat, salsa and funk, ‘SubMcLad’ will perform Irish folk, and ‘Cat Music’ will treat the audience to soul and rock anthems from past decades. At the Haus am See and the resiART, there will be a concert for children and families featuring singer-songwriter Johannes Rosenstock (4.00 pm and 6.00 pm). The perfect way to round off this musical day is the concert by French musician Antoine Villoutreix at 8.00 pm in the Kulturraum M5 (Markstraße 5).
