For violinist Lisa Batiashvili, working with young musicians is a matter close to her heart. And so the Artist in Residence is particularly looking forward to this concert with the scholarship holders of the Karajan Academy, in which she can be experienced as soloist and conductor.

The programme includes Antonín Dvorák's charming Wind Serenade and Peter Tchaikovsky's elegant Souvenir de Florence.

The Georgian composer Gija Kantscheli strikes melancholy notes in Chiaroscuro, a work for violin and chamber orchestra and ideal for Lisa Batiashvili's outstanding expressive art.
