It's a silent space, a deep and empty stillness, like when you see the stars. can you imagine the silence Can you be so still that you hear the silence? Can you hear inside you? The six performers appear in this stillness, touching their hearts. Her movements follow their rhythm and translate her own heartbeat into a gentle, rhythmic dance.

"Hearts. BETWEEN. Vulkanen" is a dance performance with six performers and original music. It deals with the origin of life and evolution. It is about cycles in which we as humans are involved, as part of an everlasting, constantly changing life, the life of all beings, the life of the earth in time.
To illustrate the possible beginning of life, the heartbeat of each performer is recorded and the dance is derived from the movement of the spine.
