City walk with Stefan Zollhauser. Explore the traces of Jewish revolutionaries who took part in the March Revolution on the barricades, in the parliaments or as newspapermen.


In cooperation with the Cemetery of the March Fallen, the tour not only focuses on the general history of the revolution, but also on the traces of the Jewish revolutionaries who took part in the March Revolution on the barricades, in the parliaments or as newspapermen.

What did 1848 mean for the history of German democracy and the emancipation of Berlin Jewry? And how is it remembered today? Together we will explore the revolutionary and religious Berlin of the mid-century.

The tour starts at 2:00 pm at the corner of Heidereutergasse/Rosenstraße and ends 2 hours later at Gendarmenmarkt.
