From Israel come the great singer Noa, the wonderfully quirky band Jewish Monkeys and the internationally popular entertainer and Broadway star Dudu Fisher. With Martina Gedeck and Jasmin Tabatabai, two of the great German actresses will be guest performers at the Rykestraße Synagogue. Martina Gedeck with the exciting life story of George Gershwin, accompanied by the exceptional pianist Sebastian Knauer and Jasmin Tabatabai with their programme "Jagd auf Rehe" (Hunt for Deer), accompanied by the David Klein Quartet, one of the hottest jazz formations in Europe.
For the first time an inter-religious poetry slam will take place and the Big Band of the German Opera will close this year's Jewish Culture Days Berlin with a Werner Richard Heymann programme.
