»Vienna's high society lies at the feet of the young widow Alma Mahler (EMILY COX). But Alma abhors convention. She is interested in the "enfant terrible" of the art scene, the expressionist painter Oskar Kokoschka (VALENTIN POSTLMAYR), who causes scandals with his radical works. A passionate affair begins, in which different life plans collide. Oskar considers Alma his muse and is jealous and possessive. But Alma has ambitions of her own as an artist and composer at a time when that's not common for a woman. After EGON SCHIELE – DEATH AND MÄDCHEN, the renowned Austrian filmmaker Dieter Berner focuses on two other icons of the early 20th century art business in ALMA & OSKAR.«.
