In 2019, the Berlin Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Gymnasium celebrated its 50th anniversary. Since its founding in 1969, the orchestra has been dedicated to the musical education of young people aged 14 to 19.
The orchestra brings together musicians who enrich amateur music life at a high level, as well as those who work in top orchestras in Berlin and Germany.
