Exhibition at the MACHmit! Museum
The exhibition "Books are Food" offers magic and enchantment, friendship and family, adventure and love and a bit of horror - the stuff books are made of. Travel through stories, immerse yourself imaginatively in book worlds: experience familiar things anew, welcome unexpected thoughts and look at the world differently for once.

On the 7-metre-high climbing shelf, you can find your own way through the museum and get an overview of the exhibition. At the work tables, changing creative activities related to the exhibition are offered. In this way, all children can artistically realise their museum experience.
The exhibition "Books are Food" invites you to the following experiences:
A visit to the Monster Science Institute + Tracking down mistaken identities + Baptising diaries + Printing with Gutenberg + A short break with magical animal creatures + Reading stories in many languages + On a detective tour in times gone by + With Little Red Riding Hood into fairytale land + Through speech bubbles into the world of comics + Meeting elves and trolls in the blueberry forest + Off to the rhyme lab
The MACHmit! Museum still recommends wearing an FFP2 mask inside the exhibition.
