A public guided tour along the “Street of Peace” — today’s Karl-Marx-Allee and former Stalinallee — highlights the street’s unique features on the occasion of International UNESCO World Heritage Day, which is themed “Together for Peace and Understanding.”

Achim Bahr from the non-profit association STALINBAUTEN e. V. walks with participants past the imposing residential buildings of the former Stalinallee and provides information on striking and historically or politically significant points.
The walk lasts approximately 2½–3 hours and takes place—weather permitting—with a minimum of ten participants; participation is free, no registration required—subject to change!
