It's going to be exciting: the marble sarcophagus of the Great Elector, weighing around 9 tonnes, has already been unveiled. On 1 March, the large Hohenzollern crypt under the Berlin Cathedral will be ceremoniously reopened after extensive renovation, and on 28 February there will be an open day for you.
New: The DDR Museum is showing the exhibition"Economy of Scarcity" over an area of around ten metres. 600 exhibits, including an impressive "scarcity diary", and a large media installation draw attention to consumption in the former GDR.
