Long Night of the Manufacturers

With this new event format, the Mitte District Office aims to raise the profile of the district’s diverse landscape of manufacturers, artisans, and producers and to make local production a tangible experience.

The program will be organized into four thematic areas: Culinary Delights, Art & Design, Fashion & Jewelry, and Crafts. Depending on the business, activities will include open workshops, guided tours, live demonstrations, tastings, and workshops.

District Mayor Stefanie Remlinger: “Mitte thrives on the people who create things here with their own hands: in workshops, studios, and small manufacturing facilities that are often invisible from the outside. With the Long Night of the Manufacturers, we’re opening these places to anyone curious about how work and production take place in our district. I’m looking forward to an evening full of exciting insights, interesting conversations, and new discoveries right in the heart of Berlin.”

About the Long Night of the Manufactories

The Long Night of Manufacturers is a new event format organized by the Economic Development Office of Berlin’s Mitte District. The goal is to raise awareness of the local manufacturing and craft landscape and to enrich Berlin’s tourism offerings with an authentic experience. The initiative is based on a pilot phase conducted in 2025 with Berlin-based manufacturers.

The Long Night of Manufacturers project is organized by the Berlin Mitte District Office in cooperation with visit Berlin, funded by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises, and implemented by BESL Eventagentur GmbH & Co. KG.
