three and a half years ago, she began forging her own path. She learned to compose and produce the music for her songs herself, thereby gradually realizing a long-cherished dream—a life filled with artistic and musical creativity.

Her songs tell the story of this journey. Her melodic compositions linger in the memory and ensure that many leave with a catchy tune stuck in their heads. Northern Norway, the home of her family of origin, plays a special role in this.

Brittisk has lived in Potsdam for more than 27 years. This blend of different cultures and worlds is also reflected in her music. The concert begins with “Blue Light,” inspired by a fascinating light phenomenon in wintertime Northern Norway, and concludes with an improvised live set full of energy and joie de vivre.
