Miss Söllner and the Tariff Orchestra

Berlin theater director Carola Söllner, also known as Frollein Söllner, is a true Berliner through and through: she knows all the stories of her city, never misses a party, is always on air, and has a penchant for anything modern. Now she's discovered a device that connects the world in previously unimagined ways: radio!

Frollein Söllner and her radio immerse the audience in the decadent Berlin nightlife of the Roaring Twenties, whisking them away to dark backyards and dimly lit bars, but also revealing a world increasingly threatened by extinction. For on foreign radio stations, one hears more and more often about musicians who are turning their backs on Berlin.
