What do movement, materials, and sustainability sound like? The Open Lab evening at the Futurium Lab focuses on sound experiments centered around the marble run in the exhibition. The starting point is the "Marble Run" exhibit, which connects physical and acoustic phenomena with the principles of the circular economy.
Together, participants will explore how sound arises from movement and the role materials play in this process. The marble run demonstrates how resources can be reused multiple times, how materials can remain in circulation, and how sustainability and playful experimentation can go hand in hand.
Young people have spent several days intensively studying the marble run and developing their own sound experiments. They will present these in this workshop and invite participants to further develop and modify the experiments and create new sound ideas together. Participants can actively participate, try out materials, and design their own sound experiments.
