German language programme for adult expats
The offer is intended as an alternative to traditional language schools and language cafés. Currently, full-day German retreats are offered for learners at levels B1–B2 with the aim of strengthening language confidence and enabling genuine linguistic immersion.

Each retreat comprises four central components, which are conducted entirely in German.
- Interactive games (e.g. Uno, charades)
- Cooking a German dish together (e.g. bratwurst, potato salad)
- Outdoor activities (e.g. yoga in the park, scavenger hunts)
- A themed creative workshop (e.g. comic drawing, painting, ceramics)
The aim is to make it easier for German learners to step out of the expat bubble and to create a safe space for practice – with the long-term goal of achieving fluency.
A weekly programme from Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) is planned for the future. Currently, the day retreats take place twice a month on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All retreats are led by native German speakers, both in terms of activities and workshops.
