Works by Purcell, Haydn, Bartók, and Andres
In October 2024, the Brentano String Quartet celebrated a highly acclaimed debut at the Pierre Boulez Hall with works by Beethoven and Britten. Now the New York ensemble returns, expanding its stylistic horizons.
Baroque fantasies by Henry Purcell are followed by classics of the quartet repertoire by Haydn and Bartók – complemented by Machine Learning, a work by the American composer Timo Andres from 2019.
