Even in Berlin, there are not many places where you can go out directly on the Spree. But one of them is the Wrangelkiez neighbourhood. The neighbourhood between Görlitzer Straße and the Spree has a lot to offer. During the day, cafés and boutiques, falafel snack bars and international restaurants invite you to take a stroll; at night, clubs, bars and open-air venues and the Lido, one of the top addresses for indie rock and electro parties, beckon.

Treptower Ufer - hotspot neighbourhood for Berlin night owls

A few minutes' walk further south, on the Flutgraben of the Landwehr Canal, you can immerse yourself in a microcosm of its own. The Club der Visionäre invites you to party outdoors, especially in summer with its wooden terraces. Other unique party locations are located in the immediate vicinity: the Arena area with the Badeschiff and several clubs and locations such as ÆDEN , ŒLGARTEN or the Marmorbar together create a summer club biotope. If you fancy a cosy meal or a few drinks, there are also first-class addresses on the Flutgraben: Freischwimmer, or the Oberhafen Kantine offer a wide range of culinary delights. If you want to plan your own celebration, you can book venues such as the Festsaal Kreuzberg, the MS Hoppetosse restaurant ship or the Anhalt petrol station.

Friedrichshain bank: from the Uber Arena to the East Side Gallery

On the other side of the Spree, the Friedrichshainer Ufer also offers you many opportunities to spend an unforgettable night. Opposite the famous East Side Gallery, for example, you can regularly see the best musicians in the world in action: The Uber Arena regularly hosts concerts by top international acts such as Bob Dylan, Taylor Swift or the Kings of Leon.
The Postbahnhof, located right next to Ostbahnhof, is also one of Berlin's hippest party and event locations. You can party to hip hop, electro or rock music at the Postbahnhof Club. And it's not far from here to Holzmarkt either.

What is the best way to get to Wrangelstraße?

You can reach Wrangelstraße by taking the U1 underground line to Schlesisches Tor, from there it's about a 5-minute walk. The night bus line N1 leaves from Schlesisches Tor station.

And finally, one more request:

Of course it can be lively in the evening - but please remember: at some point, Berliners also want to get some rest, after all, work usually awaits the next day. Therefore our request: Be considerate and quieter from 10 pm onwards.
