Festsaal Kreuzberg
Colourful event location with an eventful history
Festsaal Kreuzberg hosts a wide variety of events, especially concerts and party series. Since it was founded, things have gone steadily uphill and the operators have opened other clubs in the neighbourhood, such as the Monarch and the Fahimi Bar.
A move became necessary after the ballroom burned down completely in 2013. The rescue and continuation of the ballroom was also possible thanks to broad support from the Berlin cultural scene. in 2017, the organisers moved to the Arena site in Alt-Treptow and continue to run the Festsaal in the spirit of its wild and colourful founding years. The organisers call this "cross-genre pop culture".
Firmly rooted in the subculture
In its new location, the Festsaal has remained a credible and contemporary centre of Berlin's subculture. Especially for small and medium-sized gigs, the Festsaal is a perfect location with improv charm and a close-knit atmosphere. In addition to the public concert and event programme, it can also be hired for private parties or corporate events.
