ŒLGARTEN
Beer and pizza on Lohmühleninsel
The ŒLGARTEN on Lohmühleninsel offers everything you could wish for in a summer beer garden . There are cool drinks, delicious pizzas and plenty of seating. Added to this is the old Berlin charm of a former industrial courtyard with brick, ivy and more brick. The ideal location to enjoy a sunny evening in Kreuzberg!
A cultural oasis on Lohmühleninsel
The ŒLGARTEN is a beer garden, wine garden and cultural venue all in one – making it a perfect fit for the cultural ensemble on Kreuzberg's Lohmühleninsel. Not far from the Festsaal Kreuzberg and other well-known open-air spaces, the ŒLGARTEN is sometimes an oasis of calm for connoisseurs, sometimes a concert space for music lovers. And the kitchen also has the right dish for every occasion: in the shade of the trees, you can order modern interpretations of classic beer garden fare.
From beer garden to dance floor and back again
The ŒLGARTEN also has a lot to offer culturally. Live concerts, DJ sets and small events take place regularly in the summer. The celebrations at the ŒLGARTEN are always accompanied by good music, romantic fairy lights and the disarming openness of Kreuzberg.
Our tips
- The ŒLGARTEN regularly hosts Italo disco and open-air club nights – such as the Sprizz & Italo Disco Open Air with an outdoor dance floor.
- In addition to the classic beer garden atmosphere, there are high-quality snacks such as kimchi sandwiches, vegan options and maison drinks, as well as an extensive drinks menu with cocktails and wines.
- The ŒLGARTEN recommends making an online reservation, especially for events or if you plan to come with a larger group.
