Who was Hildegard von Bingen? Liber scivias, was the title of the first work by the abbess, poet, composer, naturalist, and universal scholar. Four artists embark on a journey into the world of medieval music and mysticism, focusing on Hildegard's work.

Saxophone, lute, percussion and recitation create a connection to the intellectual world of the 12th century. On this evening, a mysterious time capsule opens to provide inspiration for the present. The programme includes works from Hildegard von Bingen's ‘Symphonien der Harmonie der himmlischen Erscheinungen’, from the medieval music collection ‘Cantigas de Santa Maria’ and music by Meredith Monk and Philip Glass.
