Dramma giocoso in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Don Giovanni as the center, the sun – the people he encounters orbit him and project their own ideas onto him. This Casanova has no chance – no reason to escape the hearts that fly towards him. However, the last three days of his life are overshadowed by the death of the Commendatore, whom he killed. His final attempts to live up to his reputation fail in a tragicomic way.

Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte

(In Italian with German surtitles)
