Just before Christmas, the Hahneberg Nature Conservation Station invites you to escape the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle for a few hours and enjoy the tranquil beauty of nature in Berlin-Spandau.
On a relaxed, approximately three-hour hike, participants will explore the diverse landscape of Spandau, covering around 10,000 steps – all at their own pace.
Along the way, you'll discover what remains green in winter, the vibrant colors nature offers even in the colder months, and the birds that accompany you along the path. Appropriately for the season, you'll also learn fascinating facts about the difference between fir and spruce trees – a topic of particular interest just before Christmas.
Please remember to wear weatherproof clothing and sturdy, comfortable footwear. A good level of fitness is recommended for a hike of approximately 8–9 km.
