Concert of the Women's Choir Workshop

Under the title "Voices of Strength," the women's voices of the St. Laurentius Choir in Köpenick, together with interested singers from the region, have formed a project choir. Over the past few weeks, they have developed a program entirely dedicated to the works of female composers and the unique expressiveness of female voices.

The program features compositions from Germany, England, the USA, Canada, and Latvia—music from different eras, united by a common goal: to make the creations of female composers visible and audible.

This music speaks of inner strength, of vitality, of sorrow and solace, of longing and hope—and of the diverse and powerful musical voices of women throughout the centuries.

These pieces tell of inner strength, of vitality, of grief and solace, of longing and hope—and of the diversity and power of women's musical voices throughout the centuries.
