Knowledge for transforming the world - Narrative Library
The project ‘SPEICHER – Knowledge for Transforming the World’ will be on display from 16 October to 16 November at the Alte Postgelände in Strausberg (Garzauer Straße 20, 15344 Strausberg).
SPEICHER is designed as an immersive experience for people of all ages: up to six people at a time can take part in an intensive two-hour experience in the Narrative Library.
In addition to this ‘solution library,’ further approaches to questions of social transformation will be opened up, including an interactive world map with existing model projects, an emotion memory, miniature utopias, a children's and youth corner, and a participatory encyclopaedia.
The whole thing is embedded in a performative presentation that ties in with our narrative of TRANSIT (2021, FUTURIUM Berlin) and invites visitors to reflect on their own positive handprint in the world.
The aim of SPEICHER is to use the power of immersive experience for positive narratives and developments – as a counterpoint to the often dominant negative reproductions.
You can find initial information about the history of the project on the website https://wissensspeicher.online/. In the coming weeks, the site will be expanded to include additional content, including a bibliography and an interactive world map.
Admission is free.
